RAD Exams from 17 March to 30 April postponed due to COVID-19

On Monday 16 March RAD Australia announced a series of updates to our scheduled events and exams activities which you can read here. Much of this remains current but as this situation is evolving daily we now have an additional update relating to examinations.

Following ongoing consultation with examiners, RAD global headquarters has decided to suspend all examiner travel from 17 March until 30 April 2020 and will repatriate all examiners to their home country immediately. All live examinations (i.e. with Examiners in attendance) worldwide will be postponed from 20 March until 30 April 2020.

At this stage, all RAD Australia exams will proceed as planned from May 2020, but we will continue to monitor and review this position in the coming days and weeks.

In the meantime, we are developing plans to reschedule or to deliver examinations by video and are working with our colleagues in London on guidelines and instructions for video exams. We will share these as soon as possible.

Special exams
Following the latest advice, Special exam sessions for Advanced students in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane scheduled for March and April will now be postponed. We will seek to offer students the opportunity to take these exams by video and will share guidelines and instructions as soon as possible. If a student in the Special exam sessions does not wish to proceed with their exam they are entitled to a refund less a 10% administration fee.
