Kathleen Gorham Memorial Awards - VIC
Take part in the Kathleen Gorham Memorial Awards for 2019. Students who have entered a RAD Examination in 2019 and are entered into the awards by a RAD registered teacher in the Victoria region are eligible to enter. Awards are offered from Grades 6 to Solo Seal.
Please note the following changes in 2019.
CLASSES – Entrants will perform the following work:
KATHLEEN GORHAM AWARDS – VOCATIONAL ENTRANTS:
INT F – Ports de Bras, Centre Practice, Adage, unset petit allegro, Allegro 3 (Finals: set study)
INT- Ports de Bras, Centre Practice, Adage, unset petit allegro, Allegro 3 (Finals: set study)
ADVF upwards – open centre work and pointe work (Finals: set study)
AUDREY NICHOLLS AWARDS – HIGHER GRADE ENTRANTS:
G6 – Pirouette En Dehors, Adage Study, Soubresaut and échappés sautés, Waltz Enchaînement (own choice of side),
End of Class – Own choice of dance
G7 – Port De Bras, Pirouette Enchaînement, Petit Allegro, Grand Allegro (own choice of side)
End of Class – Own choice of dance
G8 – Etude Lyrique, Choice of classical solo, Choice of free movement solo, Choice of character solo
* pianist will accompany all Higher Grades
* students are required to bring their own scarf, skirts, character shoes etc
