We are extremely proud and thrilled to announce that our National Director Bronwyn Watkins will be awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Dance (FRAD) at an upcoming event on 11 July to celebrate her retirement the following day. The Award which is being given for her long and outstanding service to the Academy as National Director Australia will be presented by Academy Vice President and Artistic Director of Queensland Ballet, Li Cunxin.

When asked about the award which will enable Bronwyn to add the initials FRAD after her name, Chief Executive Luke Rittner said

β€œIn terms of longevity of service and of achievement, loyalty and dedication there can be no more deserving recipient of a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Dance than Bronwyn. I salute her and all she has done in her long and distinguished record of service."
