Regional Manager NSW & ACT/Riverina

The Royal Academy of Dance Australia seeks an outstanding Regional Manager to join our busy exams and student events team.

About the role

The Regional Manager NSW & ACT/Riverina is a critical role overseeing the delivery of RAD core exam and student services across two key regions, ensuring the development and maintenance of a strong, engaged and active RAD membership. You will be responsible for the management and administration of ballet exam tours, student competitions and courses, as well as other events and activities within the NSW and ACT/Riverina regions. You will work with the National Examinations Manager, as well as a network of Regional Managers, freelance and event staff, and volunteers to deliver exams and other activities to the highest standard. Externally you will liaise and work collaboratively with teachers, examiners, Regional Advisory Panels and other key stakeholders to meet student and teacher needs and grow participation and engagement.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have experience in project management and administration, within an arts, member or not-for-profit setting. To succeed in this role you will be an energetic and well-organised person with a customer-service focus. You will have exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills and will be accustomed to managing multiple projects and activities simultaneously. You will have strong communication skills and experience dealing with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

This role requires some work out of hours, including weekends and travel within NSW / ACT and interstate on occasion.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have existing Australian work rights. Persons undertaking this role will require a NSW Working with Children Check and may be subject to a National Police Check.
