RAD Australia Teachers’ Scholarship Fund
The Royal Academy of Dance aims to increase access, reward aspirations, and support the excellent standard of education within our Registered Teaching Membership.
In 2021-2022, together with the assistance of our inaugural partners DanceSurance, Harlequin Floors and Bloch we created an ongoing Teachers’ Scholarship Fund supporting RAD Registered Teachers who wish to develop their skills and knowledge by engaging with Continuing Professional Development.
Over four application rounds the Teachers’ Scholarship Fund supported RAD Registered Teachers to participate in a variety of professional development opportunities in 2022.
We are very pleased to announce the Teachers’ Scholarship Fund will continue in 2023, offering two application rounds for CPD activities throughout the year and a separate round for the next RAD Australia Conference in January 2024, to include registration and travel expenses.
Scholarships are available for:
- RAD Syllabus courses*
- Comprehensive Syllabus Class with Teacher Observation series
- RAD Global Webinars
- RAD Australia Conferences
- RAD Endorsed Provider courses
There is also limited support available for teachers who wish to undertake external professional development opportunities. External courses will need to meet standard CPD requirements for time valued CPD.
