The South East Queensland lockdown for 11 Local Government Areas has been extended from 3 days to 8 days.
The current lockdown in South East Queensland has been extended until 4pm on Sunday 8 August to help the state get on top of the latest COVID-19 outbreak. Find out more here.
The Local Government Areas affected are
- Brisbane City
- Moreton Bay Regional Council
- Gold Coast
- Lockyer Valley Regional Council
- Logan City
- Noosa Shire Council
- Redland City
- Scenic Rim Regional Council
- Somerset Regional Council
- Sunshine Coast Regional Council
The lockdown also apply to anyone who’s been in these 11 LGAs from 1:00am on Saturday, August 31, even those who typically reside outside these areas. Those people must follow the lockdown restrictions when they return home.
