Shortlisted piece Nautical Twilight
Nautical Twilight for string quartet and electronics explores the natural phenomena of nautical twilight. The work takes inspiration from natural sounds such as the cries of seagulls, the rhythm of firefly flashes, and the fossicking of crepuscular animals to create a mysterious world with an underlying sense of power and energy.
