Congratulations to all the students and teachers who took part in the Kathleen Gorham Memorial Awards and the Audrey Nicholls Higher Grades Awards 2019 which took place in Melbourne last weekend.

We were delighted to have Kate Gorham, Kathleen Gorham's niece there on the day to make the event extra special this year and were grateful to our adjudicators Audrey Nicholls OAM FRAD ARAD, Lindsay Ellman-Brown, Terese Power, Diana Hammond, Martin Rubinstein OAM FRAD and Joanne Michel.

Special thanks too to our class teachers Susan Sargison and Kynan Jones and pianists Janine Torriero and Akiko Loong. Finally, a big thank you to our team of volunteers and staff who ensure this event runs like clockwork each year.

Congratulations to all our winners and in particular to Charlie Dashwood who was the Kathleen Gorham Memorial Award Overall Winner and  Matthew Kennedy who was the Audrey Nicholls Higher Grades Overall Winner. Both students were trained by Jane Moore/Andrea Dashwood from Jane Moore Academy of Ballet. A full list of winners is available here.
