Join the NSW Advisory Panel

The NSW Advisory Panel is made up of a maximum of 11 volunteer members. Panel Members represent the RAD members in NSW, and provide advice and support to the Regional Management team in relation to RAD activity and events throughout the year. Being on the panel is a great way to meet other RAD members, be part of a supportive community, and contribute to the success of the RAD in NSW.

Panel members are elected for a three year term and are expected to attend meetings which take place monthly, over 8 months of the year (can attend via Zoom if not living locally), and also volunteer at the various RAD events and activities that run throughout the year.  Being on the Panel is extremely rewarding, and we encourage regional members to consider joining.

Find out more about our Regional Advisory Panels here.

The panel is currently accepting nominations for 6 vacancies.

Members who are RAD Registered Teachers or RAD Member Plus and over 18 years of age are welcome to be nominated to join the NSW Advisory Panel if there are vacancies. If there are more nominations than there are vacancies, then members will vote for their incoming Panel member(s) electronically prior to the AGM (or at the AGM if they haven’t done so already) and the elected members will be announced at the AGM. If we receive the same number of nominations as vacancies, then everyone who is nominated can be accepted.

If you would like to be nominated or nominate someone else, please read the Terms of Reference here and complete the online nomination form in full here. Please note:

  • The nominee must be a financial member of the RAD
  • The nominee must be a RAD RTS or RAD Member Plus and be over 18 years of age.
  • The nomination must be made by a different financial member not the nominee and seconded by another financial member of the RAD

Nominations are due by Monday 31 January.  The nominee, the person nominating, and the seconder must all be current RAD financial members. If you have questions you can find more information on the website here or please reach out.
