Dance Performance Groups - Jacqueline Morland Awards 2022

The Royal Academy of Dance invites you to participate in a dance performance group at the finals of our South East Queensland flagship event, the Jacqueline Morland Awards 2022.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn a routine with a renowned choreographer with 12hours of tuition, and then perform the routine in front of a live audience of family and friends, at the Awards event.

Each performance group is limited to only 40 students so be quick, register now!

The 2022 Dance Performance Groups are as follows:
Grade 1 and 2  – Lyrical Group choreographed by Rebecca Jorgensen
Grade 3 and 4 – Contemporary Group choreographed by Nina Green
Grade 5 to Intermediate Foundation  Jazz Group choreographed by Laura Wood
Intermediate to Advanced 2 – Classical Group choreographed by Natalie Hammond

Rehearsal dates are:
Sundays 27 Feb and 6, 13 and 20 March.

Rehearsal Venue:
SJ Block Dance Studio, L’Estrange Terrace, Kelvin Grove, QLD
entrance is at GATE 1 near Queensland Ballet Academy, opposite 102 L’Estrange Terrace, Kelvin Grove.

Final Performance Venue:
St John’s Anglican College Auditorium, Forest Lake

Level Fee Closing Date
Grade 1 to Advanced 2 $150 per entry. Entry is $150 per student, and includes 12 hours of tuition with choreographer, costume (not including shoes), onstage rehearsal and stage performance.

Audience tickets are available from $20 per person
