Introduction to Rambert Grades: Live in Sydney
Join Rambert Grades live at the Royal Academy of Dance in Sydney for an exclusive introductory session to their contemporary dance syllabus. Find out more about Rambert Grades here.
This free live introductory session opens with a physical workshop exploring the three strands of the Rambert Grades syllabus: Technical, Performance and Creative. This will be followed by an introductory talk and Q&A with Rambert Grades Joint CEO, Amanda Britton and Head of Operations, Nicole Guarino, hosted by Shelley Yacopetti, Head of Department – Faculty of Education, RAD Australia.

About Rambert Grades
Rambert Grades is a pioneering contemporary dance syllabus created from the groundbreaking collaboration between two world-leading organisations in contemporary dance: Rambert (dance company) and Rambert School. The benchmark for creative contemporary dance learning and practice, Rambert Grades believes in training to empower. The syllabus includes material from renowned choreographers including Hofesh Shechter and Alesandra Seutin. It is an accessible framework which promotes working with the whole person and developing transferable skills.

We are delighted to offer 30 in-person places in Sydney. For those unable to attend in-person, we are providing the opportunity to join live online. This is an introductory session designed for those who have not yet trained to deliver the syllabus.
The Royal Academy of Dance in Australia are proud to be collaborating with Rambert Grades in a 3-year pilot, which offers RAD Registered Teachers a discount on Rambert Grades membership.
Please note
- All are welcome at this session. Neither Rambert Grades nor RAD membership are required to attend.
- This is an introductory session designed for dance teachers and practitioners who would like to learn more about Rambert Grades. Current trained Rambert Grades members are welcome to join online. Due to the introductory nature of this session, it does not contribute to CPD.
- In-person spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
