Dance Performance Groups - Jacqueline Morland Awards 2023

The Royal Academy of Dance invites you to participate in a dance performance group at the finals of our South East Queensland flagship event, the Jacqueline Morland Awards 2023.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn a routine with a renowned choreographer with 12 hours of tuition, and then perform the routine in front of a live audience of family and friends, at the Awards event.

Each performance group is limited to only 40 students so be quick, register now!

The 2023 Dance Performance Groups are as follows:
Grade 1 to 3 – Classical Group choreographed by Karissa Jones.
Grade 4 and 5 – Lyrical Group choreographed by Naomi Leader
Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate – Contemporary Group choreographed by Charlotte Schmidt
Advanced Foundation to Advanced 2 – Character Group choreographed by Ariane Murray

Rehearsal dates are:
Sundays 19 and 26 February and 5 and 12  March.

Rehearsal Venue:
SJ Block Dance Studio, L’Estrange Terrace, Kelvin Grove, QLD
entrance is at GATE 1 near Queensland Ballet Academy, opposite 102 L’Estrange Terrace, Kelvin Grove.

Final Performance Venue:
St John’s Anglican College Auditorium, Forest Lake – Sunday 19 March
