Dance Fest 24 - Summer Workshop
Participate in our 5 day summer workshop in Adelaide!
The Royal Academy of Dance and South Australia Regional Advisory Panel is excited to invite students from across Australia to enroll in DANCE Fest 24, South Australia’s biggest and brightest Summer School for dancers!
Students will be taught by an exciting Australian faculty in classical, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, Broadway jazz, tap, commercial and hip hop. Classical stream students (13+ years and above) will be offered Pilates, stretch and conditioning, character, repertoire and Rambert grades.

Meet the Faculty
Anna Rybakova
Anna is a well skilled choreographer, with experience in various dance styles (character dance, ballet, contemporary, jazz, ballroom dance). She is so passionate about the art of dance, and her whole life she has worked as a dancer with many choreographers, which gave her a great experience in developing dance skills as well as creating the choreography.
Bridget Hancock
Bridget has been dancing from a young age, and was seen most recently in the top 100 of the 2014 season of So You Think You Can Dance. After years of training in Adelaide under Barbara Komazec, she has received her Borovansky Solo Seal in classical ballet with distinction, and has won numerous awards. At just 19 years of age, Bridget was thrilled and honoured to be making her musical theatre debut in Anything Goes alongside Caroline O'Connor.
Chylie Cooper
Chylie has taught at Australian Dance Theatre and at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. Prior to her teaching career she danced with WAB, Sydney Dance Company, and Australian Dance Theatre, amongst others.
Daniel Jaber
Daniel Jaber has been a performer with Garry Stewart’s Australian Dance Theatre. In 2013 he was commissioned to create a new work on the company, ‘Nought’ which was subsequently nominated for a Helpmann Award for Best Choreography in a Ballet or Physical Theatre work and won Best New Work and Most Outstanding Choreography in the 2014 Dance Australia Critics Survey Awards. He has guest performed with National Theatre Mannheim, Stadttheatre Freiburg and BalletLab. He has choreographed work for companies such as: Expressions Dance Company (now Australasian Dance Collective), Houston Ballet 2, Qantas, Australian Tourism Awards, Adelaide Fashion Festival, Dubai Festival City and Dance Moms. He has lectured and created student works at notable institutions: New Zealand School of Dance, Queensland University of Technology, Adelaide College of the Arts and Transit Dance.
Jasmin Durham
Jasmin was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canberra three months later with her family. She started learning ballet at the age of three at the Lisa Clark Dance Centre, later studying jazz, tap and contemporary dance. In 2009 she moved to Melbourne to study at The Australian Ballet School. She performed on The Dancers Company tour in 2010 and 2011. Jasmin joined the Australian Ballet in 2012 and was promoted to coryphée in 2018. Jayson Smart
Mr. Jayson Smart has been offering quality tuition to dance students for over 30 years with many former students going onto tertiary training and professional dance careers. Unlimited Feet Performing Arts began in Murray Bridge & Glenunga in 1993 after Jayson purchased the Pamela Phillips School of Ballet. In 2005, Jayson purchased the Ecole de Ballet studio & ran UFPA in the Morphett Vale studio for 16 years. Unlimited Feet Performing Arts studio now offers classes in Murray Bridge. In 2018, Jayson was awarded the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing Leslie P. Newman Award for “Outstanding Service to Dance”
Jenni Guest
Jenni has combined her formative years as a Classical Ballet Student/Amateur performer with her academic years of pre and post graduate Physiotherapy study resulting in a passionate focus on Dance Injury / Education and Prevention. As a long standing member of The International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, Jenni remains up to date with the current research in Dance Medicine, treatment and preventative methodology. She holds strong beliefs in working with the junior dancers through their developmental years to achieve maximum potential, as well as following through with the tertiary students and professional performers in maintenance programs, specific rehabilitation and injury prevention protocols. Additional dance related work includes Assessor for the Cecchetti Method Teachers qualification, lecturer for the Royal Academy of Dance (SA Chapter), Anatomy lecturer for Certificate 2,3 and 4 in Dance and guest Pilates Instructor for the RAD. Jenni is a Director of Smart Health Training and Services, a private allied health / medical centre which works strongly on the philosophy for a collaborative care model. Here, she runs the Smart Dancer program, the Smart Rower program and Pilates teacher training.
Maddie MacArthur
Maddie started her dance training at a young age at Centre Stage Dance in New Jersey. Maddie has been involved in the Adelaide performing arts scene for many years, and completed her Diploma of Dance (Transit Dance, Melbourne) in 2019. She has performed alongside German & Accordion player Hans in A night at the Symp-Honey as a dancer and singer (Adelaide Fringe Festival 2022) and performed in Singapore as an acrobat in a Young Circus Time (2014). Recently she has performed in Postcard from Around the World (Shane International Production) at the Royal Adelaide Show (2022) and continues to perform at corporate events around Australia with Hans and Ding Productions.
