Congratulations to our 2021 Australian Graduates!

On Sunday 3 July we had the pleasure of hosting an inaugural Graduation Celebration for Australian graduates of our Faculty of Education programmes, including the Professional Dancers' Postgraduate Teaching Certificate (PDPTC), Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) offered here in Australia, and those conducted globally via distance learning.

All graduates are invited to attend the global Graduation Ceremony in London, but understanding the barriers this might present for some, RAD Australia was thrilled to be able to host an event locally. The celebration recognised the achievements of graduates formally and provided an opportunity to celebrate with friends, family, and staff.

Over 80 2021 graduates were invited to take part at our headquarters in Sydney. Certificates were presented by David McAllister AC Vice President of the RAD with speeches from Dr Michelle Groves Director of Education, Tim Arthur Chief Executive, and Léonie Locke Interim National Director. Former National Director Bronwyn Watkins OAM also attended as a special guest.

RAD Australia Faculty of Education, Education and Engagement Manager Shelley Yacopetti said:

“It was an absolute pleasure for Faculty staff in Australia to join with the graduates of our RAD Awards programmes and celebrate their hard work and achievement. We wish them all the best for their teaching futures”.
