After 29 years as National Director, RAD Australia bid a fond farewell to Bronwyn Watkins at a very special function including Members, staff, stakeholders and invited guests.

As part of the evening RAD Vice President and Artistic Director of Queensland Ballet, Li Cunxin presented Bronwyn with a Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Dance (FRAD) - an award which marks her long period of outstanding service to the RAD and to the art of ballet.

Li Cunxin commended Bronwyn on her 'nearly three decades of incredible service to dance in Australia. Bronwyn's enthusiasm, passion, dedication and commitment to the art form and her vision and leadership have truly made an enormous difference for 29 years.' He then went on to reflect on some of her achievements during her tenure.

A further tribute from retired colleague Jane Hollier, who served alongside Bronwyn for 25 years in a number of roles but most notably as the Regional Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, expressed the deep affection and regard with which she is held by the RAD Members and staff.

We all wish Bronwyn all the very best for the future.
