The inaugural Boys DANCE Challenge took place shortly after the new year in Adelaide. 18 boys took part in the competition which saw them perform a solo in the genre of their choice for special guest adjudicator Gerard Charles, Artistic Director of the RAD as well as the team of faculty who had been working with the boys across the 2 days of the Boys DANCE 20 workshop.

Entering into either the junior or senior category the dancers delivered hip hop, contemporary, tap and classical genres in their solo performances. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere back stage had all the boys showing support and encouragement to one another before stepping on stage with professionalism.

A warm thank you to our faculty Jesse and Joel Rasmussen, David Williams and Jake Burden and to our volunteers and staff.
