We are pleased to announce the Winners of the 2024 Jacqueline Morland Awards! Held on the 16th and 17th of March, 2024, at St John’s Anglican College, Brisbane, the state flagship event showcased the remarkable talent of RAD students from Queensland and Northern NSW.

This year’s competition saw 161 students participating in the semi-finals and 88 in the Dance Performance Groups, with an audience of over 600 spectators coming together to celebrate the achievements of these young artists. The awards culminated in a display of exceptional talent across various grades, from Grade 4 to Advanced 1 and 2, highlighting the depth of skill and artistry fostered within the RAD community.

“The standard of talent was extremely high. The level of maturity, attention to detail and artistic qualities shown in the open classes through to the solo performances was inspiring for us to watch and a testament to the hard work of the artists onstage, and their teachers and families supporting their dreams. We had a tough time making the necessary decisions for the Awards, but want to reiterate the value of these events as opportunities for growth for all the young artists, regardless of whether they’re placed or finalists or not. All the artists we saw this weekend have bright futures ahead.”  Adjudicators Juliet Burnett and Mitchell Rayner.

Congratulations to all students, and our sincere thanks to everyone involved who made this event possible.
