Advice for Victorian Studio Owners – Closure for 7 days
Today’s announcement by the Acting Premier of Victoria confirms Victoria will enter a state-wide lockdown from 11.59pm on Wednesday 27 May for a period of 7 days. This means dance studios, schools and all non-essential businesses will need to close for the duration of the lockdown and Victorians will only be allowed to leave their home for the following five reasons.
- shopping for necessary goods and services,
- authorised work or permitted education
- exercise, a 2-hour limit with one other person,
- care giving, compassionate, and medical reasons
- To get vaccinated.
Unfortunately, this means we will be unable to go ahead with the South Eastern Workshop this weekend and parents and teachers will be contacted directly regarding this.
We will be looking at the broader flow-on effects of this period for the upcoming RAV session in Melbourne and will advise teachers accordingly
